GISHU DIAGNOSTIC CENTRE CONSTRUCTION REACHES 35 PER CENT"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The construction of the Uasin Gishu County Diagnostic Centre is steadily progressing, with the project now 35 per cent complete as the County Government moves to strengthen diagnostic services and expand access to modern healthcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Clinical Services Chief Officer Ambrose Tarus inspected the ongoing works on Thursday, taking stock of the progress and assessing the pace of construction at the facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tarus commended the progress made so far, while urging the contractor to maintain the momentum and adhere strictly to the agreed timelines to ensure the project is completed as scheduled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Chief Officer said the Diagnostic Centre is a key investment in the county\u2019s health infrastructure, expected to significantly enhance the capacity of public health facilities to provide timely and reliable diagnostic services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOnce completed, the facility will further enhance the county\u2019s diagnostic capacity, supporting faster access to essential investigations and complementing services already available across our public health facilities,\u201d said Tarus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He added that the County Government will continue monitoring the project closely to ensure that construction progresses according to plan and that the facility is delivered within the required standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The development is part of the County Government\u2019s broader commitment to investing in modern health infrastructure, equipping facilities and improving access to quality and specialised healthcare services for residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once completed, the Diagnostic Centre is expected to play a critical role in strengthening the county\u2019s referral and diagnostic network, while reducing delays in accessing essential medical investigations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The inspection was accompanied by Director of Medical Services Dr Evans Kiprotich, Deputy Director of Clinical Services Crispus Massam and Monitoring and Evaluation
