Uasin Gishu County this morning hosted a delegation of potential investors from Chinese companies, mainly from Zhenjiang Municipality in Jiangsu Province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The delegation began their county tour with a courtesy call to the Deputy Governor\u2019s Office, H.E. Hon. Evans Kapkea. The visit is a follow-up and reconnaissance mission following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Eldoret City and Zhenjiang City as sister cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The MoU seeks to strengthen collaboration in cultural exchange, higher education, technology transfer, and the promotion of trade and investment between the two cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Addressing the delegation, the Deputy Governor welcomed them and urged Eldoret residents and stakeholders to take advantage of the opportunity and engage with the investors during their stay in Eldoret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

County Secretary Phillip Meli, CECMs Loice Murei, Anthony Sitienei, Eng also attended the meeting.
