County Chief Officer for Clinical Services Ambrose Tarus has highlighted significant progress in theatre services at Ziwa Sub-County Hospital, terming it a major achievement under Governor Jonathan Bii\u2019s Nguzo Kumi manifesto, particularly the second pillar, which prioritizes quality and accessible healthcare services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking during a visit to the facility, Tarus said the county government continues to invest heavily in healthcare infrastructure, medical equipment, and human resource development to ensure residents receive efficient and affordable treatment closer to their homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He noted that the improved theatre services at Ziwa Sub-County Hospital have enhanced access to surgical care, reduced referrals to distant facilities, and strengthened emergency response within the sub-county.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added that the operational theatre plays a critical role in handling emergency surgeries and specialized procedures, ultimately reducing pressure on referral hospitals while improving patient outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tarus revealed that the facility has successfully conducted eight Caesarean section procedures since the theatre became operational, describing the achievement as a major boost to maternal healthcare services within the sub-county.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the visit, Tarus also engaged hospital management and staff on strategies aimed at improving service delivery, enhancing patient experience, and ensuring efficient operations at the facility.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

On his part, Clinical Services Deputy Director Crisspus Massam reiterated that the County Government of Uasin Gishu remains committed to transforming the health sector through strategic investments aligned with Governor Jonathan Bii\u2019s Nguzo Kumi development agenda, which is aimed at improving the well-being of residents across the county.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
