Single mothers and widows in Segero, Kipkenyo Ward, Kapseret Sub-County, gathered at Segero Adventist Church for an empowerment forum aimed at boosting their socio-economic well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative brought together community members to share experiences, acquire practical skills, and explore opportunities for self-reliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking at the event, Chief Officer for Gender and Social Protection Marion Birgen reaffirmed the county government\u2019s commitment to supporting vulnerable groups through targeted empowerment programmes and inclusive policies.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Participants received training on income-generating activities and financial literacy, while also addressing social and emotional challenges. Local leaders and church representatives lauded the initiative, calling for sustained collaboration to uplift women in the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The forum concluded with participants expressing gratitude and a renewed resolve to improve their livelihoods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
