Chief Officer for Devolution, Administration and Public Service Management Ruth Samoei has reiterated the role of the Public Benefit Organisations Regulatory Authority (PBRA) in driving accountable and sustainable community development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samoei, while representing Governor Jonathan Bii, said public benefit organisations are key to improving livelihoods but require strong oversight to ensure transparency, compliance, and effective use of resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She noted that PBRA plays a critical role in building trust among donors and beneficiaries while ensuring support reaches those in need.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

While acknowledging challenges such as efficiency and awareness gaps, she stressed that strengthening the Authority would enhance its role as both regulator and development partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Describing the moment as a \u201cnew dawn,\u201d Samoei urged stakeholders to embrace innovation and address emerging issues, including the social impact of technology on younger generations.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The CO called for a shift toward solution-driven approaches and collective action to tackle poverty, addiction, and changing societal values.
Chief Officer for Gender and Social Protection, Marion Birgen, emphasized inclusivity and sustainability, highlighting the role of community-based organisations in delivering impactful, data-driven interventions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also called for stronger regulation to address environmental concerns and promote sustainable practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
