Manage resources prudently to support capital development,\u201d he said.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The CoS added that high-performing officers would be recognised and rewarded for exemplary service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cExcellence will be recognised, and rewards will come to those who deliver,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Director of Performance Management Mr. Josephat Rotich reiterated the administration\u2019s resolve to institutionalise performance metrics across all departments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped Accountability, efficiency and results are at the heart of what we do,\u201d he said.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Performance contracting, an exercise seeking to sustain measurable performance efficiency in service delivery, is also a pillar in Governor Dr Jonathan Bii&#8217;s manifesto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Rotich explained that the appraisal system is designed to promote excellence and incentivise officers who exceed expectations. \u201cOur goal is to cultivate a culture where every officer understands what is required and strives to achieve it,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Assistant Director of Performance Management Wilfred Nyabando emphasised the role of continuous monitoring and teamwork in meeting departmental targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said the performance management framework is intended not only to evaluate officers but also to support them in enhancing service delivery and ensuring county programmes deliver measurable benefits to residents.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The County Government has intensified efforts to strengthen accountability, efficiency and service delivery across its departments.
