Uasin Gishu Deputy Governor has urged graduates to embrace innovation, leadership, and resilience as they step into a rapidly changing world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Representing Governor Dr. Jonathan Bii Chelilim, at the University of Eldoret 14th graduation ceremony, the Deputy Governor, who is also an alumnus of the university, congratulated the Class of 2025 and praised the institution for shaping leaders and nurturing talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEducation is the great equaliser, the bridge between aspiration and opportunity,\u201d the Deputy Governor said. \u201cGraduates, go out with courage, innovate boldly, lead with integrity, and carry the values of this institution with pride.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The Deputy Governor highlighted the significance of the university\u2019s name, noting that Eldoret Kenya\u2019s fifth largest city symbolizes ambition, resilience, and global vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He emphasized that the ideas generated at the university should mirror the spirit of the city and contribute to its growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s graduation theme, \u201cEmpowered Graduates Driving Innovative Solutions for a Sustainable Future,\u201d was described as timely in light of global changes, including the rise of artificial intelligence and new industries.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

He also underscored Uasin Gishu County\u2019s commitment to youth empowerment through training, internships, and initiatives such as the Fanikisha Hustle Programme, which equips young people with skills to seize emerging opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
