The County Government of Uasin Gishu has embarked on a series of strategic initiatives aimed at expanding opportunities for young people to innovate and excel within the rapidly evolving digital economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Governor Dr. Jonathan Bii affirmed that the establishment and equipping of ICT centres, alongside the provision of Wi-Fi hotspots across the county, are among the deliberate interventions his administration has prioritized to empower the youth and nurture a culture of innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking in Eldoret during the inaugural Kenya Software and AI Summit, which was graced by Prime Cabinet Secretary, Musalia Mudavadi, Dr. Bii underlined that the county recognizes young people as the driving force behind innovation, technological advancement, and sustainable economic growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn this era of Artificial Intelligence, it is imperative that we create avenues for our youth to fully harness the immense opportunities available in the digital space,\u201d said Dr. Bii.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

He further noted that his administration is implementing a countywide programme to provide free wireless internet hotspots, enabling young people to access digital resources, develop innovative solutions, and translate their skills into viable economic ventures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Bii emphasized that Artificial Intelligence continues to transform the way people live, work, and grow particularly within the digital economy and agricultural sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
