The County Government of Uasin Gishu recognizes that youth are the hinge upon which the progress and growth of our society depend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a key pillar in Governor Dr. Jonathan Bii Chelilim’s Nguzo Kumi agenda, the Department of Youth Affairs, Sports, and ICT is committed to fostering an enabling environment where young people can sharpen their skills, innovate, showcase and monetize their talents, and tap into available opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

County Executive for Youth Affairs, Sports, and ICT, Robert Kemei, underscored the county\u2019s commitment, stating: “The County Government takes a keen interest in the needs of our youth because we understand that they are the leaders of tomorrow.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

He further noted that the department continues to provide opportunities through sports and training programs, empowering the younger generation to seize emerging prospects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

County Chief Officer for Youth Affairs, CPA Victorine Kapkiai, and Director Meshack Chemwor accompanied the CEC during a busy day of meetings and meaningful engagements with numerous youth and local artistes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
