At least 600,000 trees have been planted through the Iten-Eldoret Water Fund project, positively ramping up efforts for environmental conservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The data also comes as a big push up to President Dr William Ruto’s vision of planting up to 15 billion trees by 2032.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The Iten-Water Fund Project representatives from both the public and private sectors paid a courtesy call to Uasin Gishu Deputy Governor Evans Kapkea, where they shared the data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The visit signified the launch of the midterm review to assess progress made in the past 3 years of project conservation efforts. The initiative is being implemented through a robust Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The Deputy Governor applauded the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders and reaffirmed the County Government\u2019s commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He emphasized the importance of continued support and coordination to ensure the long-term success of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
