Amid rapid urbanization and industrial growth, stakeholders have come together to review the Uasin Gishu County Waste Management Policy 2024 a comprehensive strategic framework aimed at addressing the county’s waste management challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collaborative initiative, led by the Department of Environment, Solid Waste Management sector under the coordination of Divina Salim, seeks to promote a safe and healthy environment through sustainable waste management practices. It aligns with Nguzo No. 7, which emphasizes the importance of a well-conserved and clean environment for the well-being of all.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The ongoing three-day workshop, running from July 22nd to 24th, provides a platform for participants to exchange ideas and refine the policy, with plans for prompt implementation to achieve a cleaner city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
