As part of efforts to expand water distribution and reach more households under the Mache Biko Beko<\/strong><\/em> campaign, stakeholders on Wednesday visited Turbo Sub-County to engage with residents and inspect ongoing projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two projects currently under implementation include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Koitabut Water Project<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Scope of Works:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u2022Gravity pipeline
    \u2022Distribution pipeline
    \u2022Communal water points<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Murgor\/Kamulat Water Project<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Scope of Works:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \u2022Desilting of the dam
      \u2022Installation of a solar pumping system
      \u2022Distribution pipeline
      \u2022Communal water points<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The County Executive Committee Member for Environment, Water, Natural Resources, and Energy, Mr. Anthony Sitienei, accompanied by Sub-County Water Engineers Tabitha Kipnyango and Boaz Korellach, as well as Ward Administrator Vincent Sambai, engaged with residents who are set to benefit from these projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The initiative aims to ensure communities have reliable and equitable access to clean water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \u201cI urge the local committees to coordinate closely with our office to ensure all residents benefit from dependable water access,\u201d said Mr. Sitienei.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

      Engineer Boaz assured residents that the technical team is committed to delivering high-quality work that guarantees sustainability and sufficient water supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Mzee Kosgei, a local elder, expressed his appreciation for Governor Bii\u2019s administration for prioritizing water access:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \u201cWe are grateful to our Governor, who truly cares for his people. We can now open taps at home \u2014 no more long walks uphill to fetch water,\u201d he said.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

      Water distribution remains a top priority under Governor Bii\u2019s leadership. Aligned with Nguzo Number 7, significant budget allocations have been made to implement more projects, including in the most remote areas of Uasin Gishu County.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
