In a major boost to Uasin Gishu’s healthcare sector, Governor Dr. Jonathan Bii has officially launched the construction of Moiben Sub-County Hospital, fulfilling his Nguzo Kumi manifesto pledge to establish specialized healthcare centers in every sub-county.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking during the site handover to the contractor, Dr. Bii reaffirmed his commitment to making health a top priority. \u201cWe want every resident to access quality, specialized services close to home, and this project must be completed on time,\u201d he emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Governor also urged the contractor to provide job opportunities to local residents, ensuring that the project benefits the community beyond healthcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

County Health Executive Committee Member Eng. Joseph Lagat and Finance counterpart Micah Rogony pledged close cooperation with both the contractor and the community to fast-track the project\u2019s delivery. Eng. Lagat further encouraged residents to register with the Social Health Authority (SHA) to fully benefit from the upcoming services.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The contractor committed to completing the facility within a year, setting a new benchmark for infrastructure delivery in the county.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once complete, the hospital will feature:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ground Floor: Outpatient services, emergency wing, and radiology unit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

First Floor: Operating theatres, wards, paediatrics, and administration offices<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second Floor: Private and general wards<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Third Floor: Laundry facilities and a children\u2019s playground<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Moiben facility is set to transform healthcare delivery in the region, marking a major milestone under Dr. Bii\u2019s transformative leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
