Guided by the \u2018Mache Biko Beko\u2019 campaign, the County Government of Uasin Gishu\u2014through Nguzo Number 7, is intensifying efforts to ensure residents have access to a reliable and sustainable water supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, the inspection of the completed Phase 1 of the Kapket\/Kapjakir Water Project in Tembelio Ward, Moiben Sub-County, was carried out by county engineers Noah Kebenei and Abraham Metto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project scope included the construction of a sump, installation of a pump house, fencing of intake works, construction of a pumping main and distribution system, installation of a plastic water tank on a steel tower, and the establishment of four communal water points.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

County engineers expressed satisfaction with the quality of work delivered by the contractor, noting that the infrastructure is well-built to provide long-term service to the residents of Tembelio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is set to benefit more than 200 households.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through the Department of Environment and Water, the county government is working diligently to implement the \u2018Mache Biko Beko\u2019 campaign, aiming to ensure that at least 60% of homesteads in Uasin Gishu have access to clean and reliable water.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
