A group of elderly women from Uasin Gishu are looking to pen history as they prepare for an international football tournament in South Africa later on in April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mutei Grannies Football Club is shrugging off the effects of ageing tendons and muscles, now readying to write history in football.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team from Kamaua sub-location in Tembelio Ward, Uasin Gishu is determined to break the glass ceiling and upset the age factor in the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The women are aged between 50 and 70 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
