Addressing members of Kapsaos FCS on Monday during the launch of milk collection, County Executive Committee Member for Trade and Cooperative Martha Cheruto said the move will see the collection of safe milk for the consumers.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n She assured them of the county’s commitment to supporting cooperative societies through training and capacity building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “Our role is to ensure that you grow sustainably and enable you to produce the maximum litres of milk,” said Cheruto<\/p>\n\n\n\n On matters of technology embodied in the dairy value chain, Cheruto lauded Space AI for leveraging digitizing services which has instilled farmer confidence through the provision of accurate data by enhancing transparency and efficiency from milk collection to off-taking processes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n Area MCA Isaac Chepkulei said their focus is to assist the farmers to become economically stable noting that his catchment area has a capacity of producing over 3000 litres of milk per day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Officers from New KCC, Space AI and Dairy Board assured the dairy farmers of their cooperation and working good relationship to see them grow<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n Deputy Director for Cooperatives John Rotich, and Co-op officers Edwin Keitany and Brigit Makena were among the present.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Members of Farmers’ Cooperative Societies(FCSs) that deal with the milk value chain have been asked to bulk their milk in their respective societies to guarantee the required standard.
