Ruth Samoei has officially taken over as County Government of Uasin Gishu’s Chief Officer for Public Service Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mrs. Samoei assumes the role of Nathan Korir, who served in an acting capacity and has now been redeployed to the Department of Trade, also in an acting capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the handover ceremony, Mrs. Samoei, formerly the Chief Officer for Cooperatives, articulated her vision for an efficient department.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

She pledged to uphold the principles of Nguzo Kumi, calling for collective dedication to delivering high-quality service to the county.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis marks the beginning of a new era of doing things. Together, we must ensure that our department is a beacon of professionalism, teamwork, and efficiency,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLet us dedicate ourselves fully to the county, branding ourselves positively and ensuring that we reflect a strong and dignified county image.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Mrs. Samoei emphasized the importance of professionalism in all aspects of work, including time management, dressing, and effective communication. She urged the department’s leadership to foster collaboration, motivate their teams, and implement robust monitoring and evaluation systems to ensure continuous improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cResponsibility lies with us as leaders,\u201d she noted. \u201cLet us set clear targets, support one another, and deliver on our shared vision for the county.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outgoing Chief Officer Nathan Korir expressed gratitude to the team for their dedication and collaboration. He commended their collective efforts in driving the department\u2019s success and emphasized the importance of professional growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI urge you to continue performing your duties with passion in service delivery and enhance your skills and expertise,\u201d said Mr. Korir. \u201cThis is vital not only for individual development but also for elevating the standards of service we provide as a department.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Korir further assured his full support for Mrs. Samoei and the team, noting his confidence in their ability to achieve even greater milestones under her leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
