Uasin Gishu County Governor Dr. Jonathan Bii has urged residents to take full advantage of the county\u2019s healthcare facilities, emphasizing their readiness to provide quality services with adequate supplies of essential medicines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking on Monday during the flagging-off of a medical supplies consignment worth Ksh 54,460,920 from the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA), the Governor reaffirmed his administration\u2019s commitment to ensuring equitable access to healthcare across the county. The consignment will benefit 138 healthcare facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur healthcare facilities are well-stocked and prepared to meet your medical needs. I encourage everyone to visit these centers for timely and effective care,\u201d he stated. Dr. Bii underscored the importance of community involvement, noting that better health outcomes require active engagement from residents.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The Governor lauded the collaboration between the county and agencies like KEMSA, terming it vital for improving healthcare services. He further assured residents that his administration remains committed to completing projects initiated by his predecessor, emphasizing the prudent use of public funds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy primary goal is to serve the people of Uasin Gishu, regardless of who takes credit for the completed projects,\u201d he affirmed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Governor Bii expressed his vision for a healthier future for all residents, pledging to prioritize accessibility and efficiency in healthcare service delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deputy Governor Hon. Evans Kapkea joined the Governor in commending healthcare providers for their dedication, urging residents to register with the Social Health Authority (SHA) to enjoy free healthcare services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBy registering with SHA, you can access vital medical services at no cost. I encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity,\u201d Kapkea said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The County Executive Committee Member for Health Services, Dr. Abraham Serem, echoed the Governor\u2019s sentiments, highlighting significant improvements in healthcare delivery under the current administration. These include hiring additional healthcare staff to meet the operational demands of local facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other county leaders attended the event, including CECM Elijah Kosgei (Public Service Management), Chief Officer Dr. Paul Wangwe (Promotive and Preventive Health), Elphas Kesio (Agriculture), and Mark Some (Sports).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
