The second day of the Monitoring and Evaluation exercise in Uasin Gishu County focused on assessing various development projects across Soy Ward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These initiatives align with Governor H.E. Dr. Jonathan Bii\u2019s Ten Pillars, which emphasize equitable development, empowerment, and sustainable progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Significant renovations have been completed at the Soy Health Center. The facility now boasts freshly painted walls, both inside and outside, upgraded window panes, fully tiled rooms, and a replaced ceiling.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

These improvements aim to provide a more conducive environment for both patients and healthcare providers, ensuring quality service delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Approximately 5 kilometres of road connecting Ngobitwa and Cherungut have undergone grading and gravelling. This upgrade enhances accessibility, improving the transportation of goods and services while boosting local economic activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sinonin Dispensary has seen the construction of a fully equipped drug store. Additionally, doors and windows have been installed, and the building has been roofed, making it ready for enhanced healthcare service provision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Olare Water Project has made significant strides toward providing clean water to residents in Kuinet\/Kapsuswa. Key developments include the installation of a water tank, a solar-powered system, a water sump, and a pump house. This project aligns with Governor Dr. Bii\u2019s vision of improving access to clean water as a fundamental right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of efforts to empower women and promote food security, kitchen gardens have been distributed to 10 women groups. Beneficiaries include Badaptai Kapchan Women Group, among others, enabling members to grow nutritious vegetables and contribute to household sustenance.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The Chepsiria Self-Help Group, comprising 17 members, and the Kem Car Self-Help Group have received support for aquaculture initiatives. Two fish ponds have been stocked with 16,000 fingerlings, laying a foundation for income generation and food security in the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the Angaza Kesho Pig Farming initiative, the group was provided with four pigs. The program\u2019s success is evident as one sow has already given birth to nine piglets, demonstrating the potential for sustainable livelihoods through livestock farming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Governor H.E Dr. Jonathan Bii’s administration continues to deliver on its Ten Pillars of development through initiatives like these, which focus on healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, water access, and women empowerment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
