The County Government of Uasin Gishu through the Department of ICT & Innovation on Friday hosted Ajira Digital for young women empowerment at the County Hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initiative is designed to offer training, mentorship, and online career fair opportunities to help participants thrive in the digital space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

eMobilis key partner is working alongside the Ministry of ICT, Innovation, and Youth Affairs (MoICTDE) to operationalize 101 Ajira Youth Empowerment Centers (AYECs) throughout Kenya.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Officers from the County’s Department of ICT and those from the Ministry as well as partnering organizations attended the training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These centres are crucial resources for Kenyan youth, providing access to essential computer equipment, training, and mentorship to pave the way for meaningful careers in the digital economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
