AND ACCOUNTABILITY IS KEY"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In line with Governor Jonathan Bii&#8217;s Manifesto Nguzo Number 9, which emphasizes transparency and accountability in county operations, the importance of these principles was reaffirmed during an introduction meeting for new staff members from various sections of the Public Service Management (PSM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure Human Resource Management, Communication, Branding, Payroll, Registrar, Administration and Planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>During the meeting, the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Public Service Management, Elijah Kosgey, highlighted key principles for the new staff to adopt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>He urged them to value themselves and maintain professionalism at all times, noting that efficient service delivery is central to public information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, he stressed the need for staff to be presentable, bring new skills into their roles, adhere to the code of conduct, and uphold their oath of secrecy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8221; These principles, would be instrumental in enhancing staff performance, which, in turn, would boost public confidence in county operations, &#8221; said Service Management Jelagat Tirop on her part called on teamwork. &#8221; You cannot shine alone, embrace teamwork and professionalism is paramount, &#8221; she said.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Let the world know what our County is delivering to its residents, &#8221; she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Director of Human Resource Management Nathan Koech took them through the County&#8217;s vision as the Department of Public Service Management oversees all the other departments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images 5C&#8217;s of personal branding includes consistency, clarity, creativity and commitment, &#8221; she said.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>This reflects the county\u2019s ongoing commitment
