GOVERNOR BII WORKING TO IMPROVE HEALTH INFRASTRUCTURE AND TIMELY SUPPLY OF DRUGS

Governor Jonathan Bii’s administration is committed to improving healthcare services in all 138 facilities.

To enhance its operations, the county government is working on infrastructure development, provision of drugs, staffing, and improving internet connectivity.

Speaking during an impromptu visit to Ziwa Sirikwa Sub County Hospital, Deputy Governor Eng. John Barorot reiterated that the administration is working to ensure seamless service delivery.

“When we took office, we made a promise to the residents of Uasin Gishu that services would be delivered without fail, and this also applies to our healthcare services, which are one of the Nguzo Kumi pillars,” the DG added.

Eng. Barorot committed to expediting the desilting and piping of water from Ziwa Dam to the facility and its surroundings.

“Funds have been set aside for the process, and it is in the best interest of all that, as we work to provide sufficient water and improve infrastructure, the management will also focus on delivering quality services to the residents,” he noted.

Accompanying him were Soy Ward Member of County Assembly Isaac Chirchir and other officials.
